Cell Podium is a digital solutions provider for public health and responder training clients. A recipient of NIH and CDC awards and a member of the NIEHS Worker Training Program community since 2006, Cell Podium offers enterprise platforms, mobile applications, multimedia content, and outreach and training campaigns.

Cesar Bandera, PhD


Cesar Bandera is founding partner of Cell Podium. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo, NY, and is recipient of Small Business of the Year Nominations from DOD, the NASA Space Act award, and four patents. Cesar is also the Leir Chair of Entrepreneurship at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Prior to 2000, he formed and led the Machine Vision Department of Amherst Systems (now a Northrop Grumman Company), where he was responsible for the R&D and funding of the company’s computer vision products.


Peter Schmitt, PhD


Peter Schmitt is founding partner of Cell Podium. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. Peter has participated in advanced research including high energy physics experiments at the CERN, managed the development of the first digital car phone in AEG Mobile Communication (Ulm, Germany), and while at BASF Corporation was responsible for all Java and JSP development, and introduced SAP’s Logistics Information System (LIS) into the company. In 2001, Peter founded Schmitt and Associates LLC, a technology solutions provider specializing in application and e-learning development.
